Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) breakers provide protection of receptacles located in the outdoors, in bathrooms, garages and spa areas. This applies to not only to new construction, but also to existing homes. When an electrical outlet is replaced in a location that requires ground-fault protection, the new outlet must be GFCI approved according to the NEC. All Q Line circuit breakers are one inch wide per pole, compact devices that feature: Quick-make / Quick-break mechanisms, common trip bars, and easy-to-spot trip indications to ensure safety and reliability as well as meets 2020 NEC standards. The THQL1115GFT breaker features ground fault interrupting technology, 1 pole, an ampere rating of 15 A, an interrupting rating of 10kAIC, and a voltage rating of 120/240V.

Features
The national electrical code requires GFCI protection of receptacles located outdoors, in bathrooms, garages and spa areas |
This applies not only to new construction, but also to existing homes |
When an electrical outlet is replaced in a location that requires ground fault protection, the new outlet must be GFCI protected, according to the NEC® |
The GFCI circuit interrupter provides protection against overloads, short circuits and ground faults |
It detects very low levels of electrical current leakage (ground faults) and acts quickly to shut off power, preventing serious shock |
Push button test validates the ground fault detection capability of the breaker |
Class A 5 mA ground fault circuit interrupter |
Quick-make, quick-break mechanism |
Suitable for reverse feed |
Standard continuous current rated |
