Fixed safety fencing and guarding systems can be costly and limit mobility into and around hazardous locations. Light Curtains offer modular safety zoning that provides safe and flexible access to hazardous equipment and areas without detracting from productivity. Rockwell Automation’s Allen-Bradley® GuardShield™ 450L (E and B) Safety Light Curtains are uniquely designed to work with universal plug-in connectors that allow you to configure the devices to operate as either transmitter or receiver. This technology makes the GuardShield 450L incredibly cost-effective, saving you time on installation and troubleshooting and enabling a wider range of configurations in one product. Additionally, these safety light curtains can be configured with the GuardShield™ 450L EtherNet/IP Module and the CIP Safety Over EtherNet/IP Plug-in Connector, transforming them into smart devices that communicate safety and diagnostic information over an EtherNet/IP™ network.
